Late 80s SOC Misc items Price list

I found an SOC price list from the late 1980s when removing my fuel tank yesterday. It must have been down there since shortly after we bought the car in 1986. Interesting to see what had gone up and what hadn't in the intervening years. Spark plugs only 75p !! VAT at only 15%. -- Happy Days!

Good stuff! It made me wonder if the SOC has an archivist - does anyone know? This sort of document could easily be scanned and made available to members on the website. My stag's PO was kind enough to send me a fascinating pamphlet from about the same period recording a club lecture from an original member of the stag design team. It made me think we ought to look after these sorts of item or the history will get lost.

1973 Mk1.5 TV8 MOD in Triumph White - I never dreamed I would own a car like this

        Hi Adrian
The pamphlet you mention might be regarding the late Brian Baylis who gave a lecture to the Norfolk branch of the Stag Owners Club.
I think the SOC price list was from the firm in Kent, this is the catalogue from the same era.003.jpg

Hey, I've got one of those too! I've also got £150 in SOC vouchers. I wonder if they are worth anything now?

          Cheers,
          Mike.
Mine since 1987. Finished a 20+ year rebuild in 2012. One of many Triumphs and a 1949 LandRover!

Yes, it was from the firm in Maidstone. I didn't bother to scan the order form that was on the other side of the sheet originally. Here it is.

There is a club archivist listed in the mag, but I think the archives are a bit like the Archivum Secretum Vaticanum as I have never seen any of it anywhere.
