    Just took delivery of my chris patton traling arm jig to replace stripped studs PICT0186.jpg
    only $80 inc postage about £52 pounds hope i do not need use it

    Bit late now! Just upgraded my studs to unc/unf by drilling and helicoiling.

        IT keeps the drill in the right place and straight if the studs are fitted at a slight angle hub will not fit also allows trailing arm to be repaired on the car

          I understand that, but the holes are already there you use the drill bit to clean all the old threads away then tap it to accept the heli coil. why would you need to remove the trailing arm just to do that access is not an issue.

          I suppose it gives some people a bit more confidence to tackle the job themselves but IMO see it as an unnecessary tool. Redoing the inlet manifold ones is harder because of the angle they are at
