Oh dear, Ive done it again.
I only have a couple of weeks of respraying work left on my Mallard Toledo, and the thoughts of a tax exempt stag have been bubbling to the surface
One thing I have noticed in this life is that everything you want always becomes available before you really want it, and if you wait until the right time it doesn't come at all.
It is definately too early, which is why a 1972 Stag in primer, oops sorry white, arrived today
Scruffy looking thing that had been fitted with a RV8, but came complete with a very early Stag V8 and 4 speed manual box. Engine no is LF8ESS so a very early factory exchange unit, but with MK2 heads. It turns over, but very stiffly
Bodywork is very original, last on the road in 94, looks like it was taken off to have the ends of the chassis outriggers welded
Its going to look like a ringer as it is going to end up Topaz, then I can have a hardtop one and a soft top one to play with
I have run out of shed space, something is going to have to go!
Neil
