I realise that you may have answered this thred so many times but i have read a lot of them and have still a few questions for which im unsure of.
I have been restoring my Stag 1974 Mk 2 which was fitted with a parhana electronic ignition.
Unfortunatly whilst the engine was out the system got damaged and was unuseable, I have now fitted a accuspark system but cannot get the vehicle to run.
Although the engine fires it appears to only fire on a couple of cylinders one minute them maybe 3 or 4 cylinders another, its so close to starting it silly.
Ive checked the timing again and again but to no avail.
I surpose my questions are, the ballast resister wire is this removed or by pasted upon fitting electronic ignition? i dont understand the coil situation what should it be? what is the significants of the 12 volt feed? do you thinkm the Accuspark system isnt working properly? should i just stop messing about and fit a lumination system?
Please help cos im tearing my hair out.
