Took down my Stag hood for the first time 2 weeks ago. Came to put it up again and it is jammed solid behind the back seat. Any suggestions ?

Hi
Sometimes with a bit of well guided force you can pull the hood back up.
The easier solution is probably to losen the 3 bolts each side of the frame and then pull the hood free.
The most likley reason for the hood becoming stuck is the side catches were not engaged properly when the hood was lowered.
Best of luck

It sounds like your catches were not present.
Loosening the rear 'slam?' rail does help but it does not always work. If your rear seat is loose, that is meant to help with access with pulling the roof back up. I managed in my case to get a second pair of hands and gently pull the rear rail out. Tight was not the word for access.

Stag-Phil's solution worked for me. My catches were disengaging as the hood was lowered. Iots of fiddling at the catches fixed it.

To avoid a repeat if your catches are dodgy, remove the two fasteners at the top of the rear set back and use some strategically-place heavy-duty Velcro instead...... if it happens again you can easily move the seatback out of the way and get access....... Also means when packing the hood away you can feed the rear window down without bending/creasing it (assuming you unzip it before lowering the hood)
