    Wards Aluminium fuel tank

Anyone fitted one of these ? Very good fit, and nice and light.

I have one problem - I can't get the sender unit to seal against the tank aperture. The supplied clamp ring with six nuts looks fine and holds the sender in a correctly sized recess, without the rubber sealing ring ring underneath. I have tried using a second Rimmers rubber sealing ring, but I'm still getting noticeable seepage around the sender, which is a dangerous pain and smelly !

    Any help appreciated.

Yes - obviously done that already and just waiting for their reply. Just wondered if anyone here had experienced the same thing.

If you contacted them by email you could have a long wait. They aren't very good with that method of communication.

That sounds good. I'll give it a try. Their Dabitoff sealant is very good.
