    Driving in the rain !!!!

The frustration of the constant rain and not being able to drive my stag finally got the better of me today... So I put up the hood and went for a long drive in the rain...felt great !!!!!

Good man, the stag wont melt if it gets wet. I just make sure I wash mine and hose underneath as soon as I can.

Joys of having a Jetwash .

With a good heater, good visibility, and 'interesting' road manners if you wish for it, Stags seem fine in the weather bar that slight issue of rust... But then they were made to be driven .

Just drive it...... Check the owners handbook, nothing says it can only be driven in the dry!

I drive my stag as often as possible, rain or sunshine. In New Zealand we dont have the problem of salt being spread on the roads as you do in England. However I put the hardtop on about easter and remove it at the end of October. Its now travelled 246000 kms (150000 miles) has the standard Triumph engine and apart from a higher overflow tank The motor is standard.Get 26 MPG on 98 octane gas.

Fit a Boscreen or similar and drive it in the rain. The rain goes over the top. You only get wet when you have to stop!
I drive mine all year, all weathers. Made to be driven!

Hello, Stag friends beyond the Channel,

I hate to make you envious now, but today was a perfect day here to cruise up and down the "wine road" in the Stag, stop at two wine festivals and enjoy the sun and the wine of course...

                        Best wishes,
                        Dieter.
