    Stag dash board gauges

    HI CHAPS
i have replaced my dash borad after stripping off the pain to reveal the chrome on the clocks and seem to have a few issues
1 the petrol gauge has stopped working it has a supply live to it not sure if i have them the right way roun=d or its something else
also the temp gauge has decided to go mad it sits at half then goes into the red had the engine checked fine . was told the voltage stabiliser is not well .
not sure i have connected the wires rifght to it at the back .
all the gauges worked firn before i removed them ( dont they allways ) .
glad to have found somewhere that helps us keep these beutiful beasts on the road cheeers mart

Hiya, welcome ! Get a solid state stabiliser, and new temp sender, probably £20 for both. Martin.

Hi, Maybe the coloured wiring diagram will help to see if the wiring has been "put on" the right way.

You have probably just lost the earth connection at the stabiliser. This causes the gauges to read too high.

My temp gauge reads low and takes ages to get there. But after a run the heat coming out from under the front wings is V.hot.
All other gauges work fine apart from clock which is knackered. Any ideas (perhaps no thermostat?)
