Hi All
Whilst on the way from work to Wickes this evening I noticed that the rev counter was showing 1,300 revs despite the engine barely ticking over. She seemed to be idling oddly whilst stuck in traffic. Pulled into Wickes carpark and she was not happy about idling and I estimate the actual revs were less than 400 whilst the rev counter was still showing over a 1,000. Switched her off, went into the store and did my shopping. When I came back out and tried to restart her and she initially refused on the first turn of the key which is very unusual for her. She then started and ran fine all the way home. Later this evening I started her up again to put her away in the garage and she was ticking over fine.
Very strange! Any thoughts on what might have caused it?
Cheers
Bruce
