I had a look at your fishing blog.On Talksport every weekend between 6am and 8am,saturday and sunday there is a chap on air called Keith Arthur and the programme is called Fishermans Blues(name took from the Waterboys track) he is based around the Richmond(Surrey) area and a lot of the talk is about fishing the Thames and it's tributaries,well worth a listen.
Regarding lures me personally I always buy gold Ondex,they never fail,chub,zander,pike and perch,their so basic but always work for me.

Thanks Mark. Keeps me entertained at least The Keith Arthur programme is great - a mate of mine, Nigel Botherway is sometimes on it. I've not tried the Ondex lures yet. Will give them a whirl and see if they any better at avoiding trees! Thanks for reading the blog...

Nigel Botherway does a great job on there,both of them are able to offer advice from all spectrums and both support Les Webber's Angling Projects.I also admired how Keith and Nigel took Joe from Enfield under their wing and helped him with the fishing.
