    Gazebo / Shelter

I have spent ages on "tinterweb" looking for a pop up / fold out type Gazebo or similar that will fit in the boot of the Stag. I have measured up and it can't really be more than 1.2m long and 300mm x 300mm for the other dimensions.

Has anyone got one (where did you get it) or knows where I can get one

    Thank's

    Ian.

bought one of these Ian, very pleased with it, and it fits in the boot too, only 2 poles and can be up 10mins, 10 feet square and tall enough to stand up in, the only thing i'm not sure about at the moment is it has a clear pvc top, suns comes through it, we have had it up in the garden to try it out, pleased with it and it all fits together, tapes on the bottom so as you know how far to pull the sides apart, it has 2 fully opening sides, with fly screens and the other 2 sides have windows and doorways,

    see if it helps

      HiIan,

Not quite an answer to your question but I hope it will be a bit of help.

Having totally failed to get round to building the garage that I was supposed to do a couple of years ago, I took pity on my old girl and thought I'd treat her to a marquee, instead of the car cover I used to use.

Seeing decent ones for the best part of a grand I looked at some cheap ones and got one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:RTQ:GB:1123 I spent quite a bit of time anchoring it down firmly and it's been brilliant - far better than I could ever have expected for the price (that was quite a bit less than now).

I don't think it will fit in the boot - I'll go and measure up the bag it fits into later - but if this one is anything to go by then this company could be a good place to start.

      Good luck.

      Cheers

      Julian

Thanks for all the quick replies Guy's,

I bought one from Argos this morning but had to take it back as it wouldn't go in the boot. But was very good for the money 3m x 3m £80.

Went to Halfords to look at this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_249951

Ended up buying it and am very pleased with it, and it fits it the boot with room for other stuff, and pardon the innuendo but me and Patricia can get it up in a flash

            Ian.

We bought it from a company called Country Seats UK in Waddesdon.. I originally found it on ebay but they don't seem to run the ad anymore. Not cheap, but very robust and it collapses compactly enough to fit in the Stag boot.

Got one of these too but have'nt put it up yet. The first time it'll be up will probably the National, big enough to fit you all in for a rainy bbq party

                          Hi Pete,

The one I got from Halfords only fills the area that what I assume is the cover for the one you have, hope that's helpful to others thinking of buying one.

From what I can see you have a very nice Stag

                              Hi Ian,

I had been using my own pop up gazebo for a few shows until it got caught by a very strong gust of wind and although it was pegged down it ended up in the middle of the Vauxhall car display. Fortunately no damage done to their cars but the gazebo was wrecked. It was a decent quality one as well.

We decided to go for this one as it was the only sensibly priced commercial quality one I could find that would fit in the Stag. It does take up a lot of the boot space but the covers can always go on the back seat to give you half the boot back.

The pic is Roger's Stag (my one is red)

                              Pete
