Routing of Main Fuel Line

I noticed that the main fuel lne on my car from the filter to the carbs goes directly ove the can covers and between the air filter to the carbs.

I would like to know if this is the correct routing am a little worried at feading the main fuel cable over a hot cam cover.

Is this correct?

Yes, Steve. I am sure someone here has a picture of the pipes with the air filter box removed, but it does route between the air filter and the LH cam cover.

That is a good photo and what a wonderful engine bay I am jeleous.

My pipe is quite a tight fit is there no ganger regarding the head from the rocker cover?
