Hi Phil, the best hoses are silicone, they last forever but they're very expensive, next one down, the original reinforced rubber, a good price and they do last well. At all costs avoid Kevlar ! they've been known to split or even break up very quickly. Wards, Paddocks, Robsport can supply. Martin.

Rubber hoses do last fine for the use most Stags are given, but the ultimate solution would be the silicon hoses. I will probably fit some next time around .

Whilst the silicon hoses are pricey they are cheap when compared to hoses on modern cars (On my modern some hoses are £60 each!).
