Funny, I'm waiting for my Matt Black vinyl wrap to arrive. I think you need about 15-20m to do the car properly. I think that amount would cover the rust.
I suppose its just a matter of taste/new ideas and how well its been done. There again a few years ago all classic cars had to be spayed in Cellulose, it was the only authentic way to get that finish or so the die hard bluff traditionalist said. If you used Cellulose now you would have the whole world and their dog ( not meaning that all hippies have dogs but the ones near us do but i never give them any change "get a job you looser") banging on you garage door.
