    A big ask

I bought a front light len's on Ebay and did'nt realise it was collection only So my question is there a member that lives in Harringay London, that is also going to the nationals. I thought that they might be able to collect it for me and bring it to Manvern where I could buy them a few large beer's Worth a try. Graham.

    Hi Graham,

if you can talk him into posting it to me I'll bring it with me for you, I'm afraid I wouldn't have the time to go and pick it up at the moment. Just too much to do with work etc.

    Ian.

Hi Ian that's very kind of you but he won't post it otherwise I could have go him to send it to my daughter. What is really strange is that the guy who sold it has Milo as his user name on Ebay and I thought it might be you until I found out he lived in Harringay. Be lucky Graham

Sorry I can't help more Graham, only other thing I can think of is if one of our London Black Cab drivers / Stag owners could help out if their over that way.

Hi Graham, why wont he post it? Is it just the lens or the whole unit?

What is the vendor's postcode? PM me if you prefer. I cannot promise but either I or my sister-in-law may be able to collect the part(s). Delivery to National may be more problematic because I am not sure I can make it as yet. However, I may be able to get the part to someone else for the forward journey - one of the Hertfordshire Area Centre crew, for instance. Let me know. Paul

Well, he said that he orderd 2 of these len's (they are the clear ones you use a amber bulb in) and one got broken in the post so he won't take the chance. Cheers Graham

Andrew that's a fantastic offer, Terry PM'd me The thing is I am coming back to England on the 24th for the operation on my wrist ( I don't know if you read the post, the Stag fell on me and broke my wrist and elbow) anyway the problem was getting across London to pick it up ( olympics an all) so I though if anyone lived nearby and was going to the national's they could save me a lot of grief I am really sorry that I will proberly won't be back to meet you when you are over, but I will PM you with my Tel No just in case I am. Thank you once again for your offer and have a great holiday. Graham

Hi Dave "new to this." That could work out well. I'm likely to be over that way tomorrow evening to install a washing machine for my sister-in-law's other half. It would be great to meet up anyway, especially since you live near me! I'll make some enquiries and get in touch. We'll get this sorted!
