        Hi Mark,

Here are some instructions on how to fit the seals (called wiper seals) originally. I believe this document came from a Lockheed document.

However, with yours already fitted, this might not be too much help. The rings are quite fragile and bend easily. If you can find something of an identical diameter it may help you to push them back in squarely if they are sticking out a bit too much.

        Good luck. Cheers

        Julian

          Thanks for your help Julian.

Looks like it will be the calipers off then to try and push the retainers in further. So much for a quick pad change !!!

Hang on Mark before you pull your calipers off.

If you can find something hard, circular and the same diameter as those seal retainers then, by using something like a G clamp, you may well be able to push the retainers back in. That's how I fitted my new ones without removing the calipers.

            Good luck.

            Cheers
