Stone chips.

Since getting my Stag, I've had a slow but constant battle with stone chips, on the small exposed area between the bumper and the grill bottom chrome. I think I've found the answer, a stone chip film made by Ventureguard, they're only in Daventry, so I popped over for a chat, the guy spent a long time chatting, demonstrating that it's nearly bullet proof, I couldn't push a key through it, saying nice things about the Stag, and sold me enough, off a roll, to do the job twice, £20. This is the result, guaranteed not to yellow. It took about an hour to properly clean the paint and apply it.

Only time will tell of course, but I'm impressed. Martin.

Looks good, Martin. I guess it's similar to that used on AMs, Porsches, etc.

I would need to sort the paint out first, though. Perhaps if I get Julian to change my headlight bulb……

Yes Dave, same stuff, but they get it in pre-cut kits, I had to do this myself, I won't tell you why the pic isn't of the opposite end M.

adrian i think your idea of martin buying a huge roll of this and doing all the forum members cars at n/day foc for his t/ shirt abuse is a great one ,thanks for the call ill make sure im early.

Sounds good Martin should get around 300 or so cars done in one weekend and as payment we could let him near the burger wagon but i guess the answer will probably be ........
