    National meeting venue

Hi everyone. As most if you know I'm very new to stag ownership. Can someone tell me if the venue in Norfolk is the home of the meeting forever. It seems placing a national venue so far east will alienate lots of owners. I would have thought a more central venue would have been more beneficial.
9 hour round journey for me so I think I will spend the day welding

Edd I attended last years. In Norfolk it was a 950 mile roundtrip i enjoyed every single mile it was the big test for my stag longest and furthest trip so far do not be daunted it it is a longway away in future years as the drive to it is as much of the enjoyment driving/sitting in my stag for 10 hours because of hoilday traffic jams i still got out with a grin on my mug happy days

Thanks so much Bob. I was talking to the Mrs saying wouldn't it be nice to go so i googled it and was very disappointed.
Brilliant news and it's great the show moves arround the country.

          I am
In no doubt that I will enjoy a long run especially meeting up with the likes of you and others. I love the convoy scenes in the soc magazine. However motoring in a mundane modern car is not the same . Oneday my car will be finished and going to the shows will count more of a day out

            Edd,

Do you not read the SOC magazine? The weekend has been featured in there every month since about January, with clear information about the location.

I know I know. I am to used to reading the restoration parts and or lusting ( is that too strong a word ) over the pictures. Sometime it's better to just read the book than go on the Internet. Once i was told the penny dropped that i had seen it Anyway without a few stupid posts life would be boring excited now as we are deciding on the colour at the show. Delph Tahiti are favourites at present

That's ok Edd. You don't have the monopoly on stupid posts. Made a few of my own in my time

Delph is a nice colour. A bit more subtle than Tahiti for living with every day IMO. But then if you are changing from Magenta then anything is more subtle - except possibly Java

Helmet on and running for cover now……

I think you'll get away with that Dave, Russ is out of the country at the moment, isn't he ?

                    Cheers
