    New hood

Hello Everyone, Having just spent the last 6 months converting my rover powered magenta stag back to a stag powered stag,
I now need a hood, was about to order one and i notice that south east trimmings in kent are advertising them in the club mag for
£410!! this seems very reasonable and i think the 2 hour drive to faversham must be much easier than struggling with a hood that ive never fitted before!! I was just wondering if anyone else on here has one of their hoods fitted and what are they like ??? thanks Richard

Had my hood fitted there about 15 years ago - still looking good!

£410 I think is just to fit a new cover on your old frame. In my experience that is rarely advisable since most frames are in need of renovation.

Hi chris yes i realise thats just to fit the cover, im happy to sort my frame out myself as i have a really good frame from another car that only needs stripping and painting etc . Just at that price its not worth me getting involved with the cover may as well just take it there have a nice drive down and maybe a weekend away !!! ( weather permitting !!! )
