Engine blurring when accelerating

Hi!
I experience a problem with the engine. When I keep steady revs it works very smoothly, but as soon as I put the throttle down to accelerate it starts blurring as if it is not igniting all cylinders. When running 35-45 mph it is worse than if it is 55-65 mph. Anyone having an idea of what the problem can be? Greetings from Sweden.

Hi eglipo I think you might be our first Swedish forum member! Welcome aboard!

When I had a hesitation on acceleration the problem I had was that there was no oil in the carburettor dash pots. Could that be it?

im no expert on stags (still learning) but could be ignition timing not set correctly or its not advancing at higher rpm

Sounds rather like a small tear or hole in one or both diaphragms. Martin.
