fuel leak Still

After fuel leak back from brands last month have re -placed carbs, pipes etc
ran car sunday all ok, started up today running a bit lumpy and still loosing fuel
on top of vee cannot see anything obvious only thing i did not replace was o ring
on base of pedestal being a novice could this be the source of leak.
going into garage asap hoping not to miss week end.

it will not be the O ring, you still have a leak on your carb's/fuel pipes or needle valves leaking.

Fuel leak and lumpy running is usually leaking needle valves overflowing the carbs.
Pull up the button on top of the inertia switch to stop the fuel pump, then run the engine until it stops when the float chambers are empty.
When you reset the inertia switch the rapid flow of fuel into the carbs will usually dislodge the needle valve and let it seat again
My Stag engined estate did this at the weekend, I had the ignition switch on and off a few times trying to trace a heated rear window fault, by the time I came to start the car it stank of fuel and struggled into life, and this is with new needle valves
