    Jeff,
Where did you get that? Obviously based on a Chevy Impala, but is it a custom car or a new 'concept car' produced by Chevrolet. I have always been a fan of the old Impala fins; takes me back to my favourite Corgi car of my childhood. The one in your pics is, IMO, stunning.

        Guess the year.

        My guess is '56.

When I looked at the first (rear end) picture I thought it was an old Impala,
but the front is totally different and seems to be based a a '57 Chevy, but stretched.
Looks really good, any more info?

Damm - there was me thinking it was a concept car from way back.

Oh well, it is good for the soul to be wrong.

              Occasionally.

                There you go!

Dave, I had the Corgi one too and the Impala has always been my favourite, funny how things make such an impression at a young age, oooerr!

Did you see the Impala on American Hot Rod or it might have been that other bloke with the white tash, memory's going now I'm 60, what was I saying???

Fabulous ! I don't think Mr DeLorean would approve but who cares. It does rather obviously pay homage to several American classics, but again, who cares, it looks the biz - and the top comes down. Martin.
