Hi I think I must have woken up from a long slumber regarding being on the ball about the stag engine... I am sure you able bodied men have already got/ viewed this, but to me it's a find and am quite absorbed in it at the moment.
I have one of these booklets, the surprising thing is it is only 4" x 3" does not go into any detail but was either published after a couple of years of experience or remarkably clairvoyant because it goes into great lengths of rebuilding water pumps and removing the heads! - Alan

how do you save it,just what i need,ive got to set the tappets
,when you first put it back together what size tappet shims would you start with,every thing is new on my head
You simply click on File - top left in explorer usually and 'save as', then file it to your hard drive - C drive / desktop?
For the tappets, from memory of doing a TR6 and 7, 25 years ago, you measure the gaps beforehand. Then with the cam buckets removed you measure the shims with a micrometer and do the maths to determine what size shims you need where. You probably want to order a few options to try out. If the shims are in good condition you can move them around as well, but they get indented and really should be replaced. I hope this helps.
