hello all that have help me this national weekend with the problems with my stag
helping to remove the stress and get me home
First Roger Philips for lending me the torque wrench and socket so I could re torque my heads and the advice
Next to my friends from Befordshire who lent me a voltage regulator and control box to prove mine had failed and allow me to drive the stag home
Steve for volunteering to help me out with a replacement regulator and control box as Pete wants his back
And Lesley for the concern that everything was OK and I could enjoy the weekend

Congrates to the team for such a good weekend

Thanks to the guys from Bedfordshire that stayed with me on the way home so that I was able to get home in the knowledge that I would not be alone if the old girl over heated again

Glad you and Mo got home safely. You are right Roger you can't put a value on the support of the club. It makes you proud to be part of a club that is so caring!

It looks like it might be a warped head
the K seal did not seam to work ( don't know if I have given it time yet)
Your Idea of only half cocked pressure cap did help with keeping the temp down but still was losing water and no signs of where it is going
No water in the oil, no water in the vee, and no steam out of the exhaust, no obvious signs of any leaks
