Can you remove/replace the driver's side exhaust manifold with the engine in situ?
Don't ask.................
its an absolute doddle just done it on mine to fit tubular headers a short while back ! ive got all the bruises scrapes and other body damage to show how easy it was........had to undo engine mounting that side to get the tubular on but lots of people visited to see how i was they brought food and other much needed supplies ,and the occasional shoulder to cry on when things looked nearly impossble ! but ive done it ,never to be repeated.

Beautiful early mk1 white tv8 mod? MGB GT and now looking for another V8
didn't find it too bad. (less than 1 hr)

It does depend on how well cleaned the 3/8 u.n.c. threads were in the head, & if new bolts were used.......last time the heads were off.
