I got mine off with a little tap with a hammer to a rod I bolted to the output flang (didn't need much),sort of a slide hammer arrangment.Its the one way clutch that is the problem.the output of the gearbox goes into a splined socket in the OD which is in 2 parts,the splines are fighting each other gripping the shaft.Dave at OD spares told me if it wont budge undo the ring of 6 bolts a bit and it should let go.

Make sure you leave the nuts on the ends of the long studs and gently tap with a wooden or rubber faced mallet, they can stick very well to the gasket but when it releases its a bit of an experience!!
