I was chatting to a guy from Robsport at one of the nationals - I think it was Fontwell. He said their prices are higher on ebay because of the cost of placing the item for sale, and the paypal charges. He did say he couldn't understand why people would buy from ebay, and not direct!

ebay is really expence for sellers
listing fees, final value fees, paypal fees
then you need to add a bit for all the scammers out there claiming goods lost.
I have down sized ebay as its more aggro than its worth

Listing fees are not too bad but due to final value fees, if you sell an item worth, say £400 on ebay, the fees are approx £40!

I have yet to sell anything on ebay. Buyer only so far!
