hi all my old eletronic ignition has pack up today ,well it melted so wondering has anyone fitted accuspark kit and if so any problems with set up and do i need there coil as well many thanks stewart

Hi stuart i have fitted the accuspark kit to my stag and it works fine, i bought the blue coil and their spark plugs with it the full kit costing 60 quid . Had an issue with the module as car wouldnt run right but they changed that and now its all good . You dont need to use their coil or plugs i just needed them anyway. It will work fine with your coil just make sure that you have an independant 12v feed to the module as the coil is fed via ballast resistor and is a lower voltage . Hope this helps Richard

+ve feed to these ignition boxes is often taken from the (switched) side of the fuel pump inertia switch.
