I am setting the valve clearances at the moment and want to know what the manual means by saying the 'heel of the cam'. Do I check the clearance with the cam lobe in this position with the point of the lobe pointing sideways (1st pic) or as the next picture with it pointing 90 degrees to head?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
