I think you might be Chas. A burnt car will probably smell of burnt car forever, it will be tricky to strip and who knows what has really been affected structurally? The bulkhead looks like it could be a bit buckled on the CoPart pictures.

I blame a friend of mine trying (and oddly succeeding for the meantime) on a burnt out Opel Monza that was once rallied by Austin McHale . That car (despite its history) looked fit for the scrapman to be honest!

Also interested to see what looks like the same Sony head unit I've got and that it seems to fit quite well, I can't seem to get my one pushed back into the centr console quite far enough.
