Careful, the blue one belongs to Graham, and he's a bit sensitive about being mentioned on here ! Martin.

AHA ! I gather you're home. I do hope the surgeons have sorted out what was a VERY nasty accident ! I know you're sensitive mate, that struck me immediately Be well Graham, Martin.

No not yet Martin I have to wait 2 weeks to get the plaster off we fly out on the 24th then back in 1 month to have the fiberglass splint off that they replace the plaster with. Then hopefully I'll be able to change my troublesom gearbox. I KNOW I KNOW no wood. Graham

Strangely enough just yesterday a local (Canarian) man pulled up with a friend in an immaculate red old model Prelude (4WS) and asked if my Stag was for sale. My wife used to have a similar Prelude car but only the standard two wheel steer model. This man said he used to own Paco's red Stag before he sold it to him. Said he sold it because of problems with the engine and wanted to know if mine was original.
I showed him mine (engine) and told him all engine problems are now "sortable".

Seems Graham we keep passing each other going backwards and forwards to the U.K. at the moment. I have just got back from my latest granddaughter's 1st birthday party held in Chelmsford, but I am going to return to England soon for a few days as I want a second opinion as I have just been diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer. The Tenerife medical people here want to cut the whole Prostrate out, but a Senior Urologist in the North of England, having seen my Biopsy results says surgery isn't necessary. The U.K. Urologist is a client of my Chester based son (who is an Accountant and does his books).

When my son mentioned my problem to him he kindly offered to look over my diagnosis so I emailed them over.
Although Prostrate Cancer is curable, there are risks if having surgery of certain after affects (some permanent), and if I don't need to go under the knife and risk having problems afterwards, then I would prefer not to. My PSA level is not all that high and I am getting on in years and certainly don't want to jeopardise my trip to Australia, New Zealand, and the Polynesian Islands this coming December.

Getting back to the original topic (I think) - Graham, if there is a green Stag around here it could be the Ramsgate owner who has a Villa just down the road, as he told me some time ago he was going to bring it over. He spends a fair bit of time in Germany as well as Ramsgate as his wife is German and that's where he bought his Stag. He told me it is a LHD model with wire wheels (previously Belgian owned), and he may have decided to now settle in Los Cristianos and have driven (or shipped) it across.

Note to self - don't make assumptions Martin.

I believe Graham is sending you a PM - but Xmas is our busiest time in Tenerife, and I know our own rental apartment gets booked up at Xmas nearly 12 months in advance. You will be lucky to find any self-catering accommodation now, but you might find Hotel accommodation. Prices also go up at Xmas as the Canary Isles is one of the few places (apart from Florida) where you still get Sun in December.
