    Diff Drain Plug

Is it my eyes or is there no drain plug for the diff? I suppose this would explain why they give trouble!! Unless I have missed it I suppose you just have to suck out as much as you can.

By the way apologies to you all - it would appear that my wife has discovered the forum as some of you may have already noticed

    Giles,

No, your eyes are not deceiving you.Draining the diff requires either the back plate to be undone, or the front carrier removed. Either way, a PITA. The diff oil actually lasts a long time. I don't think the ROM actually mentions drain/refill. The main thing is to check the breather pin is clear.

Thanks - at least my eyes are OK - do not think I will be changing the oil in a hurry then!
