electrical windows and overdrive

Hello,

I am facing an electrical problem which leaves me a bit puzzeled :

On a colder day it takes about 20 min before I can move both electrical windows and engage the OD. The warmer it becomes the shorter it takes the electrics to funktion normally. On a very hot day the problem does not appear.
An older thread points to the relays behind the fusebox but all looks nice, i could not trigger any bad contact neither. The horn always works.
Any Ideas?

I can only imagine that battery may be weak, hence voltage may be lower on a cold day. After running for 20 mins it charges up to a higher voltage.

Hi Alex, you do not say if your Stag is a Mk 1 or 2. If a 2 it will not have a relay for the overdrive. It could just be fuses that are not getting a good contact or a bad earth. I would suggest that you clean the fuse contacts and chech the earths for the circuits.
