Can it be a 1974 with steel wheels and that number plate. It become illegal after a certain date to have black background number plates. My car was M reg 1973 but the reg could be from August to August 73/74.

Mine needs body work, so if I could get the ZF and a Stag with better bodywork it makes sense.
The seats are saddle tan which ties in with the trim code 43.Dave
