Body junction in-line plugs and sockets

Hi, I've been messing with trying to install the wiring for speakers - a central retrosound stereo one on the dash and two in the rear cubbyies. All I have done so far is run the cables to where the radio head will be fitted (but I haven't even bought the radio yet), and all of the battery control components have stopped working, so I presume I must have disturbed something. The battery control fuse is not blown, but then I wouldn't expect that as this is all on the unfused side. Can someone tell me where the body junction in-line plugs and sockets are located - maybe I have disturbed them without realising?

    Cheers

I've been talking a bit of drivel here, so apologise for wasting everyone's time with this. The components that are not working are are driven from the fused side of the battery control fuse, not the unfused side as I said earlier. Not only am I a novice relative to most on this forum, sometimes it seems I can't read either!

I was really puzzled by this as the fuse checked out OK on a meter so I assumed I must have disturbed some wiring somewhere. Went out today to have another look and first of all tried another fuse. Hey presto, everything OK again!

Went back to the old fuse and the meter. Continuity through the fuse is only intermittent, depending upon where I place the meter probes on the fuse caps.

    Problem solved!

Thanks Martin, glad it was an easy cure. Odd thing is, the faulty fuse isn't particularly old, so i was surprised that the contact was poor. Didn't find out where the 'body junction plugs and sockets' are, though. Any ideas?

        Cheers

No problem, Martin I guess I don't need to know now as issue has been dealt with. I was just curious, it would have been another step in the voyage of discovery!

            Cheers

If you have a look at the wiring diagram they're marked, and there's a key. Martin.

                Hi Martin

yes, I can see it on the diagram, what I was after is where it was in the actual car!

                Cheers
