    That, I don't know. I think it is spot welded to the underside of the cover. (Only one on the engine - where the breather pipe comes out).

        That was such a great comment. I used to clean parts in the sandblaster and it gets everywhere. Another few grand saved and lots of misery.

          The flame trap/breather is spot welded in.
          It needs to be drilled out and the gauze cleaned properly before being put back and welded back in to place.

          Ive often thought that this should be removeable,or external could work as well.
          Anyone clever enough to design something,Im sure there will be plenty of demand..
