    Weber carb conversion

    Hi guys,
I'm about to embark on said conversion but am unsure which way to go re: air filter.
Stagweber are offering 2, one 14" and one 8"
    What does the team think?
Why would you choose one over the other?
    Are there any other alternatives?
    Thanks
    Dave

For what it's worth, I used a large diameter pancake type on my old 3.5 RV8 with an Edelbrock type weber and wasn't too impressed with results. RPI Engineering suggested it needed choking back to deliver better torque, and sure enough, I got the impression that it improved when I choked the filter using gaffer tape to block off around 75% of the filter perimiter.
