just plug it in to the PC Dave, it will see it as a device like a normal camera.

save it to your desktop as a jpeg file then just insert it. sometimes I find it don't save for some reason so I just send it to paint and then save it.

You can plug it in, but the Apple software always seems to make life awkward (as Ian says, it sometimes does get a little hit and miss).

One way I do it is to email the photo to my account (this way, you can pick whichever quality you want), save it to my PC, and then put it onto a photo sharing website (e.g Photobucket, FlickR etc.). However, I believe Photobucket now do an app which allows for an instant transfer of photos . Another friend simply takes his photos from iCloud (although I still have my suspicions about having all your information in the sky if you may).

i don't know how to get them from my email to save to the pc ,looks like ill have to wait until my boy comes home they were photos of how the door handle bowls are coming on ,looks like we will all have to wait

It's quite easy Dave, just right click on the picture and select "Save as" then save it to "Desktop" and give the file a name in the file name box.
