Post subject matter reminds me that when I get home I am going to start the removal of my softop and frame.
Chris did say he may be interested in it, but how to get it from Tenerife to Walton-on-Thames is another matter.
Having enough trouble getting a couple of new door speakers for my Stag into my carry-on case as it is. At least with Easyjet weight doesn't matter - only size.Comment

Whilst the price he wants for his hood is silly (£2.50 seeming more realistic!) I can see why some people are asking top money for their hoods now. One chap on ebay put his hood up at £800 (Still for sale now, albeit at £600) despite the frame being a little rusty in places and saying nothing about the roof's operation (Or at least when i asked)). This seemed somewhat ambitious until a secondhand (but working) hood and frame went for in excess of £1k on ebay via a 99p No Reserve auction...Originally posted by stagstan View PostComment

There is a guy in Southall that is wasting a good Stag ...letting it rot on his drive, non starter but wants to sell it for a ridiculous amount. Thinks it is worth thousands.
Worth about £2000-2500. But wants £7000.00.

Think you are being a little unfair to the seller - he clearly has cared for this Stag, made sure that it's been stored in a temperature controlled environment, etc.
He has been extremely unlucky and left it out in the rain one day!Comment
