When SWMBO offered to pay half towards the next six months road tax on the Stag I thought it a marvellous idea as I have only used just over half the insured mileage this year.
Then yesterday she informed me that the £60 she gave me should have been the tank full of fuel in her nearly empty Rover, and I had just filled the Stag.
Somehow she still had enough cash left over to spend the day touring the local garden centres for end of season sales coming back with a Stag full of plants.
