    Agreed valuations

    Hi all,

I am insured with Lancaster and my car is currently in the latter stages of restoration. Indeed it may soon be on the road again. Lancaster say they can agree a valuation for a fee, and I intend to take them up on this. However, has anybody else done this with Lancaster? I assume they will need photos - but what else might they need?

    Cheers,

    Peter
P.S. as I asked elsewhere - anybody need a good ACMA and CGMA (Management Accountant)?

Hi Peter, I am sure they will have a form and will definitely need photos. Best ask them really

Mine is insured with an aghreed valuation with Lancaster. You'll need to submit photos (front, back, both sides, engine and interior) and fill out a form which you will be able to put what you think is the market value. It also helps if you have receipts to submit as well. I have found them to be very helpful. When I have the interior trimmed out I re-submitted an increased valuation with invoices and they agreed to increase value by half what I paid for the interior, but fair enough.
