Really admire guys like you Terry who can do this work yourself, looks like I'm going to have to pay someone to do mine..!!

Sure it will be worth it though, the 'old girl' (Stag not SWMBO.!!) turns 40 in January, so it would nice to give her a makeover..

          Good luck with it..!

Hi Terry, I'm probably breaching copyright, but here's a sample, there are over 70 images, worth every penny. Martin.Stag shell 13 (600 x 357).jpg

Cheers Neil, before i started i was following your photo's, getting myself use to what was ahead of me. I thought i had most tools but when you actually start then you realise that oh i need that tool, and that one............
                      Thanks Terry

I love seeing how brave people are when it comes to restoring these cars, a lesser vehicle wouldn't even be attempted.

It makes my project seem only half a job, but that is exactly why I bought it.

Good luck and keep the photos coming!

Cheers Neil, its my first Restoration project , i have done welding & fabrication on large steel structures so it hopefully will come in handy, i have kept some old parts of inner sill to keep as a datum . but there has been a few boddged jobs done so its a case of looking on here at other peoples projects such as your own which is very handy and of course any advice off the forum, i will post more pic's as i go along
                          cheers Terry

Hi Terry , wishing you good luck with your project . I have had some dark days finding lots of rot but there is light in the forum ! Your local club will be only to happy to help too i,m sure , i have made templates from other finished projects too and had to look at cars in the flesh to really grasp some of the detail .
                            Cheers Edd

                              Terry re tools
If you can find a hammer that can apply its blows around corners and into hidden parts then buy one!
It will need to be flexible, adjustable, strong and be able to apply lots of force from no room to swing positions.
