Hi all first time on forum.
I am coming to the end of restoring my 72 stag, 12 months so far.
Had to write in to say about a recon soft top that i bought from Chris, V MAD.
Very good price and fits like a glove and in an hour.
Maybe we could persuade him to start a triumph parts factory so we could have parts that fit lol, unlike some i have bought from suppliers.

Thanks for the compliment, always much appreciated. I would love to be able to manufacture and supply all the stag parts we need but that will never happen. But due to some reorganisation and now that my stag project is nearly finished I am finding more time for new projects and products in my own small way. I have a new blade fuse box imminent which I am really pleased about, and also getting fired up about a new much improved design of catch for the hood.

If anyone has any more ideas on what we need?

Hi Chris the blade fuse box is a good one saw one on ebay once, not sure if it was yours or not.
Look forward to see the result, it will be a great improvement.
Iam stuck on getting the spring that allows the door to be locked from the inside on the mk1.

No Vince, was not mine on ebay, I think I know the one you mean though.

Springs should be no problem; I sometimes wind my own using spring wire. If you can identify exactly which spring I weill try and help. Is it on the Rimmers website with a part number or may you have a picture? ? My car is Mk1 too.

No its not on rimmers site so no number sorry, its the spring that fits around the round metal wheel looking thing at the end of the bar that comes from the inside handle and it located near the door lock its self, hope that all clear lol
