I know it is common to relieve the strain on the starter switch and light switches by adding relays but was wondering about adding them for the wipers. I am not referring to the time delay relay as found on the relay plate btw.
There are 3 heavyish 17 Amp wires at the wiper switch, Green from the fuse board, Red/light green and blue/light green.
Green = power to the switch
Red/light green = slow speed from switch to motor brush brush 1
Blue/light green = fast speed from switch to motor brush brush 2
1) Has any one added relay/s to take the strain off the wiper switch?
2) Does it require two 4 pin relays or one 5 pin relay?
Cheers
Keith
