    Are model stags rare?

    Blimey!
Spotted a white 1:18 model stag on eBay last night for £35. Thought it was a bit expensive but I do like a display model of my car so decided to sleep on it. Went for another look this morning and it had sold already - listed for less than 6 hours!

Are they rare? And should I have snapped it up? I think I want one more now I've missed this one!

Hiya, I have the Jadi 1/18th bought new for £25 about three or four years ago, but I think they've stopped making them, shame, it's a nicely detailed model. The little "Vanguard" ones are disappearing too, the original "Dinky" or copies of, are about for not a lot of money. Keep looking Martin.

Has anyone ever seen a plastic Airfix type kit of the Stag? I'm always on the lookout as I'd love to make a kit Stag, but never seen one. It seems you can get a plastic kit of pretty much every other classic.

Looks like the two I bought last year for £7 each was a good investment!

You are not far from Llandudno, and there is a model shop on Madoc Street there where I purchased a "dinky" model white Stag for just £3something some years ago. I remember it was far cheaper than what the Club was asking then. Might be worth a drive out there to see if they still have any - the shop is right outside where the undrground toilets are at the far end of Madoc street and they sell other things as well as models but they always had a few models in their window.

The only one I know of is the slot racer kit, not brilliant to look at, but putting it right might be the fun you're looking for. Martin.

Try this, about half way down the list, Number RSB38, the top down version is sold out. Martin. http://www.pendleslotracing.co.uk/ht..._body_kits.htm

Think the model shop in Llandudno is now a £1 tat shop, looked like it when I was there in the summer. I'll have a look next time I'm that way though - we go for a walk on the prom about once a month

                Cheers

The red one and the white one (1/18th) are Jadi and right hand drive, the blue one is Revell and left hand drive.

I could put them to good use, but they'd look a bit out of place in my display cabinet!

I'm sure that one of them would look particularly nice on your display cabinet

Incidentally I paid £40 for my Jadi Stag, if you see one cheaper I'd suggest you snap it up pdq!

                            Regards
