Has anyone else tried to use the Stag forum with Windows 8? I find the return key does not work. Only able to write on one line :-) Worked fine on Windows 7. Will load Firefox and see if it is a browser compatability issue. Just curious if anyone else has tried the forum after an upgrade to Windows 8.

Ditto Mike, finally got a new pc with 7 on it this week,so different to xp,not sure I like it yet,and at the same time swapped over to virgin fibreoptics which keeps dropping out but getting better and when it is working im getting 32mb instead of the "up to 30mb".so much to learn at once
but on the plus side my smillies and frownies now work
Cheers Steve

Like many others, I'm sure, I went from XP to 7 a couple of years ago. Found it hard to get used to at first but now think it's excellent.
Give it time and patience and I'm sure you'll feel the same.
Good luck.
Cheers

I can live with Firefox for now.

I'm still running Windows XP on my PC, but I installed Firefox a while back and find it much quicker and less troublesome than IE. So far I have only found one internet based system that won't run on Firefox and that is our offshore personnel movements system (Vantage).
At work we have Windows 7 and the new Office applications took some getting used to. Personally I prefer Office 2007 to 2010.Dave

I just happened to want to reply to an item on the forum after finishing the upgrade to Windows 8
when noticed the issue.
I dont have a mac yet. TBH for home use, the IPAD addresses nearly all of my computing needs.
Apple do great products. Lets see if Microsoft can catch up with their new Surface devices.
They are certainly on the back foot at the moment with two good OS's to contend with in the
Mobile space.
Interesting time for the consumers for a change.
