Hi All,

I hope I am not stealing Rogers thunder here but here goes...!

I have been up to Bromley this morning and joined the bunch of London SE SOC stalwarts attempting to work out which poles fit where and which flags fit on what poles and how the marquee fits together etc. etc. Mission is now accomplished with acres of time to spare!

I am looking forward to seeing it full of Stags in the morning. The stand should have 10 Stags including LD1 and the Hackett Beaujolais Stag so we have a bit of Stag Celebrity to entice you all along!!!

Quick question - what is the best time to get there in the morning? I imagine it will get pretty busy with all the cars trying to get in!

For the guys who were there this morning - I now have a handsome pair of nuts and my Stag is now up and running. Exhaust is blowing at the joints just in front of the silencers but that just means the burble is louder. Just got to sort it before the MOT next month:shock:!!!

Hopefully I am getting there around 7.30-7.45, subject to waking up on time, although that does require me to be out of the house by 7.28 - 7.43...

On the way out, I had a telling off and then more of a telling off, followed by another moan and a further telling off about speeding down the no running and no dogs path in norman park. A lady runner with 4 dogs made an official complaint about Andy and I and Andy in particular who nearly killed her dog - her version of events, not reality.

Quite amusing.

Sounds like an eventful exit! My car was outside the gate as I didn't have a pass to get in. I had the map and knew where the stand was, what I wanted the guy on the gate to point at the map and tell me was where I was so I knew which direction to walk in. He seemed to have it in his head that he couldn't tell me where I was because I didn't have a pass telling me where I was going:?. I got through to him on the third attempt!!

There is a local autospares place I pass on the way to Kwik fit. I hadn't been in there before but the guy in there managed to find a couple of brass ones for me, just the job.

I have just got the Stag down off the ramps, do I clean up all the tools on my kitchen floor, or go for a quick blast...

...hmm, I think the kitchen will wait!!:dude:
