Need a lift

Hi out there in forum land, can anyone recommend a car delivery service in the Cheshire/Shropshire area's, or anywhere else come to think of it.
There's a few on ebay, do I just go for broke and pick one out of the hat.
Any advice helpful, cheers, steve

Steve, I used 'anyvan' it's an online brokerage. You post the details of the job and the various deliverers (is that a word?) post a quote. You can read reviews make your selection and away you go.

I got my car from Doncaster to Reading (200m for £210) which I thought was good and the guy was excellent.

I used a guy from Leigh (Between Warrington and Wigan) when I had my car taken to be dipped and returned home. Really helpful, careful and reasonable price. More than happy to provide his number if you want it, as depending on where you get your car from or his other deliveries, it might be just along the A49 for him.

thanks grumpy, hopefully we will meet up, I used to go Elfed in Buckley with a bunch of kids from Hope.
Just got my stag home and safely tucked up in its new home, love it.
If anyone out there is looking for a car lift call a guy called Phil Iredale, A2B Motor Movers based in Chester and rock solid and a damn sight cheaper than some I could mention out there, it has been a steep learning curve.

Thanks everyone who has welcomed me to the forum and stag ownership, there seems to be a few around this area.
I have purchased a restoration car, a BIG restoration which is what I wanted. Looking at a couple of years. I have spent today just looking at it, it's a mess but I love it.
I have done a few motorbikes up over the years and a couple of trumpets when I was younger and I am really looking forward to this although I know I will need some help, all offers gladly accepted and there's always a pot of tea on the boil, maybe cakes too.
I think I have time plan, strip down, engine rebuild, although the engine turns over there a few upgrades I want to incorporate. Full body respray change the colour (red now, later,don't know but fancy saphire blue) and rebuild, finished by Christmas........

I didn't say which Christmas did I?
Quick question, according to the last MOT (2008)the mileage was 59k, but when I got it home I noticed it read 00344, and the speedo has a black bezel (June 73 car). I am thinking it has been swapped at the garage I picked it up from and they never even told the owner, a bit fishy to me, any idea's?
