I think I saw you drive up Wyle Cop in Shresbury today in the car. I was walking down towards the English Bridge.
It was certainly a P registered Stag!

Are you still thinking of selling?
Mark
Hi Mark
Yes, I drove through Shrewsbury this afternoon.
I'd just been to Quickfit to have my new s/s tailpipes fitted. The original chrome pipes were pitted.
I always take the route home via Frankwell up The Mount which I'm sure was developed some 500 years ago to provide the best accoustics for future Stag drivers.
The thought of selling occasionally crosses my mind but then I drive up The Mount and the thought passes.
How's your car performing? Are the carbs behaving themselves?
Steve
I have been in Gothenburg Sweden all week for work, so have not been on the forum. The car is running well and the carbs are fine, thanks. I take it out most weekends. However I tried to remove the brass banjo that connects the hose from the inlet manifold to the brake servo and could not - the tube brazing has cracked. I must have moved something - air getting in and then the tickover was nearer 1200RPM. I have now readjusted and it is running well. I have not measure the fuel consumption.
