can anybody help with a logistical task

i am in the process of buying a stag bonnet from another member on here and he lives 200miles away from me in somerset im in bedfordshire .a courier is not possible as the vendor does not have the facility to pack the bonnet.i need eventualy to get the bonnet to folkstone but any way i can get it further north at present will be a great help even if my potential journey can be reduced some will save so much time which i am very short of. thanks in anticipation .

I've got to go that way in the nearish future but the only way I have of transporting a bonnet would be lashed to my roof bars unless I take Steve Stagdad's van

I live about 15 miles east of Burnham on Sea so I could give it the first leg of its journey - but I don't think that's going to help much . I used to go near to London every day, but no longer I'm afraid

Probably true but not helpful. Steve has bought the bonnet he wants, so he needs help in getting it. Steve has spent countless hours helping others on the forum, other replies reflect the fact that we want to help. Just wish I could.

I think the bonnet is a bit special if its the one I saw with air vents cut in..
I am also in Somerset its just the fitting it in to something thats the problem.

I'm going to the NEC, as you know, and I'll be in my MPV which I guess (but am not sure) could take a bonnet in the back between the seats

Only problem is that there will be 6 of us so if it's upright between the seats it might prove a bit of a barrier to conversation

However, if you want me to measure it up Steve and if John doesn't mind taking it off us then I'd be happy to help.

Ps Just measured up and is should fit...(just!)
